WHO IS LINDA
Hello! I am Linda, the founder of Lindy and Friends. Since my youth, I’ve been passionate about Sunday School for Children. My husband Haziel and I have served the Lord for more than 20 years in the USA. In 2022 we planted El Camino Church in Columbus, OH, a church that reaches the hispanic community with love and compassion.
I understood that I had a calling to use my gifts in Art to create a project for children that was up-to-date and creative.
Since I was little a girl I loved Art. My hobby was writing poetry and drawing. When my family gave a radical spin in our lives by moving from Colombia to the USA in 2001, I decided to study Design in Architecture in the University of Florida.
I graduated right during the Great Recession of 2009 and after experiencing a difficult professional season I decided to embark on my dream project. I knew in my heart that something beautiful could come out of this dry season.
WHAT LINDY AND FRIENDS DOES
I founded Lindy and Friends during this time to bring joy and share the Good News with all children around the world. We develop creative strategies to reach children through music, animations, live events, digital content and educational products.
MISSION
Lindy and Friends characters are little missionaries who teach children about the love of Jesus and God’s Word.
PROJECTION
Over the last five years, we have expanded the Lindy and Friends Universe:
- With a universe of more than 200 characters
- Creating animated music for our YouTube channel
3D Music Animated Videos
- Generating in-person experiences in several countries in Latin America and Europe
Live Festival in Tampico, Mexico with a reach of more than 3,000 people
- Strengthening our product line (such as books, stuffed animals, and school supplies)
NRB Tradeshow
- We are currently in the development phase of the Lindy and Friends Sunday School Curriculum.
- It covers one year of Bible teaching.
- We have divided the year into four quarters.
- We have already completed the first quarter with the series Jesus is My Guide: The Parables of Jesus.
- Each quarter requires the creation of more than 190 full-color 3D illustrations.
- And we have a whole animation team behind the scenes who contribute with their creativity to generate all the illustrations.
ACTION
Now we need your support to translate the first quarter into English: The Parables of Jesus. Also, we need to finish illustrating all the 3D images for this second quarter, which we have called: The Miracles of Jesus.
Our long-term goal is to complete the year's curriculum and then launch our animated series.
The entire universe we are creating to complete the Bible teaching curriculum will serve as the basis for the creation of the animated series.
We want to be facilitators of faith based education for many families and organizations that want to reach children in a creative, dynamic way, with high-quality products that are suitable for teaching the little ones.
